Selwyn is totally obsessed with ridding the world of evil and spends their days searching out and efficiently executing anyone they feel deserves a death sentence, which tends to include murderers, child or animal abusers and those who exploit the poor for money. They are well aware of the hypocrisy of their actions - their justification is to take the guilt of all the world onto themselves, so they alone will be judged after death. Despite not really believing in concepts of Heaven and Hell, they are terrified of death, and worry about some sort of divine judgement for their 'cause'. Selwyn comes across as charming and relaxed and hides their crimes. They are well-versed in lying and can be very manipulative when they want to be. While they find it difficult to make friends, seeing them as somewhat of a weakness, they are fiercely loyal to those they do become close to, and would risk their life in a heartbeat for their loved ones.
